I guess you are wondering how a message from food old Director Hale ended up in an alien info cache on a strange and remote world. You always preferred direct answers, so here foes. First, this isn't a remote world. It's Mars. You never left Mars.

These periods of darkness are very long and periods of galactic civilization always very short. the Creeper seems drawn to 'complexity' So once a civilization is vast and complete, the Ceeper culls it.

I can also confirm that the reactor is close to critical and any disturbance will cause it to release a neutron burst. The resulting burst will be at least one order of magnitude above the lethal dose for known biology. I recommend not disturbing the reactor. The neutron burst will lead to your death. If I may, proceed to collect the final info cache. It remains the only viable option.

I have two search results so far. Both regard weapons. None regard neutron burst mitigation. The results were near the beginning of the data and made apparent. Director Hale must have placed them so they would be found. The two weapon systems hound in the data are referred to as "Project Odin" and "Project Thor". Each contains schematics compatible with our nano-lathe technology. I am integrating these systems into your build console.
